Agentic commerce · works today

Let your customer's AI buy directly from your store — today

Agentic commerce isn't the future. We don't wait for the platforms and AIs to open this up — we build it for your store now, among the first to bring it to ordinary merchants. Two things on top of your data: an on-site shopping assistant that closes the sale in chat, and your store's MCP endpoint through which a customer's own AI (ChatGPT/Claude) buys. A human always approves the payment (PSD2/SCA).

The key idea

How we make agentic commerce work today — while others wait

The honest state today
  • • Native agentic checkout is on only two platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce). Whether others follow — and when — is uncertain. Rather than wait, it pays to act now.
  • • The EU doesn't allow an AI agent to buy fully autonomously (PSD2/SCA requires human approval).
  • • AIs don't yet auto-discover a store's MCP from its data — that standard is maturing (roughly late 2026 / early 2027).
Our solution — now

We don't wait for auto-discovery. We build and host your store's AI purchase endpoint (MCP) and give you a ready ”add this store to ChatGPT / Claude” link. You share it with your customers — they add it once, and buy straight from their own AI thereafter. We handle all the technical side. When auto-discovery opens up later, your store is already there — but it works today.

A human approves every payment (SCA) — EU-compliant.

The question that matters

Why would a customer add your store to their AI?

A general AI searching the whole web is noisy and unreliable — it can suggest the wrong store, a stale price, or a product that doesn't exist. When a customer adds your store specifically, they get something entirely different: fast, precise and trusted. And it's your own channel — you're not renting attention from a platform, you're right inside the customer's AI.

Reorder in one sentence
”Reorder my usual coffee” — done. No searching, no re-picking, no re-entering details.
Your range, not the whole web
The AI knows your exact products, sizes, prices and stock. No wrong store, no hallucinated products.
Real prices, real payment
From a store the customer already chose — real prices, real stock, real payment (Klarna, bank, card…).
Your best salesperson, 24/7
Like your best salesperson living inside the customer's AI — and, if you want, a perk or discount just for them.
No logins, no forms
No portal login, no checkout form — the customer just talks to the AI they already use.
Part of the customer's own flow
The purchase happens where the customer already is and works — no new app, no extra tab.
B2B · the strongest wedge

In B2B this is even bigger — buy in the flow of work

Professional buyers, engineers and procurement already use Claude and ChatGPT daily at work. When a supplier's store lives in their AI, ordering happens in the very tool they're already in — no separate B2B portal, no logins. And this is exactly the market that moves first: Gartner expects up to 90% of B2B purchases to flow through AI agents by 2028.

🧾
Order in the flow of work
”Order 200 units of SKU-4471 to the Vantaa warehouse.” Right in the Claude the buyer already works in — contract pricing and account known.
📉
Automations on inventory levels
Connect the supplier's MCP + your own stock levels → the buyer's AI prepares a replenishment order when stock drops below a threshold. A human approves.
📐
Spec + order in one flow
An engineer specs a project with AI, the supplier's deep product data surfaces the right part with its compatibilities — and the order is placed in the same conversation.
🔀
Many suppliers, one agent
A buyer connects their approved suppliers → ”compare lead times and prices for these parts and order the best.” Their own agent orchestrates across the approved vendor list.

And because it's the buyer's OWN AI and their OWN data, they can build their own automations and workflows on top of your supplier MCP. That makes you the supplier who is literally inside their tools — and hard to switch away from.

Let's talk B2B agentic commerce
1 · On-site shopping assistant

The shopper asks — AI recommends and sells

The assistant asks the need (“a vegan, nut-free gift under €30”), recommends the right product from the enriched data and takes the sale home — all in the same conversation.

The shopper asks → the assistant recommends the right product with its reasoning and closes the sale in the same chat.
2 · Checkout right in the chat

Complete the purchase without leaving the chat

Payment runs on Stripe right in the conversation. Here's the whole path in screenshots — the pilot produced a real order in the store.

4 · Agent-to-commerce — works today

A customer's own AI buys from your store — without visiting the site

We build and host an MCP endpoint for the store. The shopper adds the store to their own AI (Claude/ChatGPT) via our link, and their AI then searches products, assembles the order and pays — without visiting the site. A human approves every payment (SCA). Below: real orders in a real Claude, paid via Klarna.

5 · How the agent finds the buy path — the near future

This is how it will work soon — and we're already ready

Very soon, once the platforms and AIs agree on shared standards (roughly late 2026 / early 2027), an agent will discover the buy path automatically, straight from your store's data — without the customer connecting anything. We already build your data to that shape today (structured product data + /.well-known manifests), so the moment it opens up, you're ready — ahead of your competitors.

And until then, the same is achieved via the connector (above). Either way: ready today.

Payments & EU regulation

The agent never pays on its own. The customer approves every payment with their own strong authentication — a bank login or a 3-D Secure card confirmation via Stripe. In the EU (PSD2/SCA) this is the only legally sound way to do agentic buying.

Honestly: where this is heading

Agentic buying rests on emerging standards — some already live (browsers already support agent tooling natively), some still coming. We've built and piloted this working end to end. We don't promise ChatGPT auto-buys today — we make your store ready now, so it transacts the moment agents act on it.

None of this works without proper product data

An agent is only as good as the store's structured, contextual product data. That's why the agent layer is always built on the data layer — and data depth is exactly what almost every store is missing.

Platforms

We build it on any platform with a headless commerce API

The agent needs three things from a platform: read products, create an order, update payment status. WooCommerce is piloted; the same is buildable on any platform that exposes those APIs.

Native endpoint

Shopify

The external agent pipeline is native, so we don't build an MCP. We still build the on-site shopping assistant on top of your data, and feed + optimize the Catalog.

In Finland this covers the large majority of online stores — every mainstream platform, including the local leaders MyCashflow, Vilkas and Finqu. The main exception is closed site-builder services with no commerce API.

Enterprise platforms (SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools): the build is bespoke but doable. Got a large platform or a partnership need? Let's talk.

Payment methods

Native agentic checkout is card-first. In Europe that leaves money on the table.

The rolling-out native agentic checkout supports cards, Apple/Google Pay and Link. But every European market is dominated by a local method it doesn't cover — and our model is payment-method-agnostic: the buyer's AI assembles the order, the human approves with their local method through the store's own PSP, PSD2/SCA handled.

Frequently asked questions

Agentic commerce — straight answers

How can I let ChatGPT buy directly from my WooCommerce store?

Your product data is made machine-readable and the buy path is advertised in that same data using the standards available today, so a customer's own AI can transact directly. On top of it we build a purchase endpoint through which the agent can search products and complete a purchase. A human always approves the payment with strong authentication. We've piloted the whole path end to end on WooCommerce.

Can I have an AI chatbot that takes payment and completes checkout on my store?

Yes. We build a shopping assistant on your site that asks the shopper's need, recommends the right product from the enriched data and takes the sale home — payment happens right in the conversation (Stripe). We differ from chatbot agencies by also keeping the underlying data in shape.

What is MCP (Model Context Protocol) for e-commerce?

MCP is an open standard through which an AI agent uses external tools — for a store it means an endpoint the agent can call to search products, add to cart and start payment. It's the transaction layer: the agent doesn't just find your store, it does business with it. WooCommerce had no ready implementation, so we built one.

Is there a Claude Commerce Agents implementation for WooCommerce? How do I make my store Commerce-Agents-ready?

Anthropic released Claude Commerce Agents as open source (Apache 2.0); the references are Shopify, Wix, Square, Klaviyo, Visa and Mastercard — not WooCommerce. WooCommerce has its own native agentic commerce (a native MCP + Stripe's Agentic Commerce Suite), but Woo's MCP is merchant-side product/order management, not a customer-facing shopping agent, and the Stripe agent checkout is card-first and US-weighted — no EU local payment methods. We ran Anthropic's official shopping agent on Woo and wired the EU checkout to a Finnish payment (Paytrail, human SCA). You make a store Commerce-Agents-ready in three layers: (1) machine-readable, contextual product data, (2) a StorefrontBackend over the store's catalog, (3) an EU checkout handoff to the store's own payment provider. Proof: storeoperators.com/en/claude-commerce-agents.

Is agentic checkout legal in the EU (PSD2/SCA)?

Yes, when done right. In the EU (PSD2/SCA) an autonomous agent authenticating its own payment has no clear legal basis. So in our model the agent never pays itself — the customer approves every payment with strong authentication (a bank login or a 3-D Secure card confirmation via Stripe). This is a legal point many competitors skip.

Who authenticates the payment if an AI agent makes the purchase?

Always a human. The agent assembles the order and creates the payment, but the customer approves it with their own strong authentication on their own device. The order is placed only after that approval. This makes the purchase both legal and safe.

How do AI agents discover my store's checkout?

Two ways. Today: we build and host the store's MCP endpoint, and the shopper adds the store to their own AI (Claude/ChatGPT) via our link — their AI then buys directly. Soon: once the platforms and AIs agree on shared standards (roughly late 2026 / early 2027), an agent will discover the buy path automatically, straight from your store's data (structured data + /.well-known) — with nothing for the customer to connect. We already build your data to that shape today, so you're ready the moment it opens up. Either way: ready today.

Which platforms can you build agentic commerce for?

Any store with a headless commerce API (product read + order creation + payment-status update). WooCommerce is piloted; the same can be built for the Finnish leaders MyCashflow, Vilkas and Finqu, plus BigCommerce, Wix, Ecwid, Magento/Adobe Commerce, PrestaShop and headless platforms (commercetools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Medusa, Saleor, Vendure). In Finland this covers the large majority of online stores — the main exception is closed site-builder services. Shopify already has a native agentic pipeline, so there we feed and optimize the data rather than build our own MCP; for enterprise platforms (e.g. SAP Commerce Cloud) we do a bespoke build.

Does this work on Shopify?

The data layer and the on-site shopping assistant work on both platforms. Shopify offers an external agent endpoint natively (agentic storefronts / UCP), so there we feed and optimize it; for WooCommerce we build the whole endpoint ourselves. In both, the data is what decides.
